Section 13 Chadwick End to Lowsonford
We have been receiving inquiries regarding the routes between Baddesley Clinton and Lowsonford.
There are two routes shown on Ordnance Survey maps starting at the National Trust property from Baddesley Clinton to Lowsonford.
The original eastern takes you past St Michael's Church, Baddesley Clinton, through Rowington Green and on to Rowington, finishing at Lowsonford.
Please note this is the route included in our gpx files.
Alternative western route takes you on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, finishing at Lowsonford.
Both routes have Heart of England way markers.
Chadwick End to Lowsonford
The Heart of England Way is 100 miles of recreational walking, between Milford (on the northern tip of Cannock Chase) in the north, and Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds.
We also promote and maintain The Arden Way, a 26 mile circular walk in the Forest of Arden area of Warwickshire.

The route is recognised by three County Councils and one Borough Council through whose areas it passes: Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Solihull MBC. An illustrated guide is available, describing the route in both directions, and now includes circular walks as well.
Responsibility for maintenance and keeping the route clear from obstructions, is that of the landowners.
However, in response to any reports of issues to us, we contact representatives of the relevant local authorities, who would then make the necessary representations to landowners.
Volunteer members of the association act as section wardens to visit the routes occasionally.
