Sadly, under the present national restrictions, our walks programmes are currently suspended.
Further details will be provided when this is resumed.
Our walks programmes provide a good choice of Wednesday and Sunday walks each month from short 3-4 mile evening 'Summer Strolls', to 5-6 mile half-day walks as well as long distance walks (up to 11 miles) for the more enthusiastic. The 'Summer Strolls' all start at 6.30pm and meet at a local pub.
Full details, and downloadable programme will be available below soon.
Visitors are very welcome, come and join us! and after a couple of walks you are welcome to join the Association to help the valuable work it does to keep the Heart of England Way and Arden Way available to everyone who enjoys walking.
Take a look at some of the walks write-ups that give you a taste of the great places we've visited in the Midlands.
For further details of walks, or to volunteer as a walk-leader, please contact Dave, the Walks Co-ordinator, at email@example.com .
We will as soon as national restrictions allow it, plan our next walks programme. However, this has been delayed by recent circumstances. Further details will be provided here as soon as they are available.
If you would like information about any of the walks, or would like to check on the suitability for yourself, then please contact the WALK LEADER or the WALKS CO-ORDINATOR.
The programme is devised around a simple Sunday & Wednesday concept, with normally two walks a month as shown. Many walks are within close proximity of the main route of Heart of England Way or the Arden Way.
Our normal walks are usually between five and six miles— we do cater for longer distance enthusiasts with our LONG DISTANCE group—contact Brian Stone 0121 706 7249.
