- People attending our walks do so entirely at their own risk and are responsible for all aspects of their own health, safety and welfare. Risks associated with walking in the countryside include, but are not limited to, slippery and uneven ground, stiles, bridges and other obstacles, weather conditions, physical exertion, livestock, crossing and walking on roads, etc. Our walk leaders are experienced walkers but are not trained leaders or first aiders, and their role is limited to route-finding only.
- We have public liability and personal accident insurance which covers Association members. Non-members who wish to benefit from this may join the Association for a minimal annual subscription.
